The facts about hotel bibles...

• The bibles are placed there mostly by the Gideons, whose mission is to proselytise:

"The Gideons International serves as an extended missionary arm of the church: Our sole purpose is to win men, women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ [...]".

• The Gideons have duped the hotels in assisting them (for free) in their mission to convert the world to Christianity. Hotel owners and operators need to wake up!

• People need not have religion shoved in their faces (or bedside tables). Even more so, they need not have a particular "brand" of religion promoted in favor of all others, or no religion at all.
